I took this photo in Patagonia in Argentina in 2008. The two narrow peaks that you can see are called Fitzroy and Cerro Torre. We had spent a few weeks trekking around that area and this was the end of the last day of our trip. We were driving back on that desolate highway, and the light was dying when I caught a glimpse of the mountain range in the rear view mirror and I thought, “I just need to take one last photo of that horizon”. It turned out to be the best photo I took on that whole trip
Can you guess why it’s important to me or what it says about me?
